Located in a historical part of the Brooklyn waterfront, Vinegar Hill House serves seasonal American cooking in a relaxed and unassuming homelike setting filled with salvaged decor and rustic furniture. When the weather permits, guests can also enjoy their meals out in the garden.

Its iconic Chicken Liver Mousse has come a long way since the restaurant opened up years ago. Since then, it has become a common sight in menus in other establishments. For first timers and regulars, they simply can’t go wrong with this classic dish served with pickled onions and pistachios. But the dish that Vinegar Hill is known best for is the Red Wattle Country Chop, which happens to be the juiciest and most tender piece of pork there is, right from their own wood-burning oven.

After a hearty meal, guests can expect only the most innovative types of desserts to cap the night. They’ve got Sunflower Panna Cottas, Almond Cakes, and other things people can’t find in other pastry shops.
