Chef Brian Karp
This cozy and laidback neighborhood sandwich eatery was founded by chef and owner Brian Karp, who runs the restaurant’s two locations in Bayside and Rockville Centre with his two partners Chris Evans and Jimmy Volz. The Bayside Press 195 was the original restaurant and was started in 2002 by Chef Brian, who quit his corporate job to pursue his love for cooking. Chef Brian's love for culinary experiments is evident in the restaurant's menu, which features a standout variety of hot and cold pressed sandwiches.

Press 195 is open 7 days a week except national holidays. Sunday through Wednesday the restaurant is open from 11:30am to 9:45pm and Thursday to Saturday the restaurant is open from 11:30am to 10:45pm.
Press 195's menu offers a range of items that includes a kid's menu, Belgian fries, starters, desserts, beverages, soups, salads, burgers, and varieties of knish along with its specialty hot and cold press sandwiches;
· Cold & Hot Press Sandwiches - Cold press sandwiches are served on lightly toasted Italian bread or pressed ciabatta bread and offer an option of create-your-own. The hot press sandwiches are what make Press 195 so famous, as its sandwiches are pressed using handcrafted ciabatta bread. Hot press offers bread varieties like the Crispy Pressed Wrap, made from flour/whole wheat/spinach and gluten-free bread. Sandwich filling options include meat, poultry, and veggie.
The restaurant also offers a free local delivery available Monday to Sunday between 11:30am and 9:30pm. Delivery orders are accepted via a phone call.
Press 195's beer menu offers a large variety of beers served on tap, by the bottle, and by the can. The beer menu also offers an assortment of ciders. The happy hour at the bar is from Monday to Friday between 12:00pm and 7:00pm.
