Second Empire welcomes reservations through the phone and online. Phone reservations can be made through their hotline via 919-829-3663. Alternatively, guests can make reservations online via OpenTable. Note that OpenTable can also be used to purchase gift certificates.
Guests are encouraged to indicate their preferred reservation arrangements specifically if they wish to dine in the upstairs main dining room, the atrium, or the tavern.
The dinner menu changes based on the seasons and features the creations of award-winning Chef Daniel Schurr, who uses only the freshest ingredients. While going through the menu, patrons can ask any of its knowledgeable servers the kind of wine that best accompanies the meal they prefer.

For dessert, Second Empire’s pastry chefs prepare a long line of delicious pieces that go well with a cup of brewed coffee or a glass of wine. They bake a fresh batch of bread daily as well.
Dessert: Vanilla bean creme brulee, basil & citrus olive oil cake, chocolate cheesecake, tiramisu, Empire chocolate soufflé, Second Empire Key lime pie, homemade ice cream and sorbet.
Second Empire is ready with its special events package to readily accommodate requests for hosting private events within the establishment. Guests can choose to be accommodated in either one of the upstairs dining rooms or at the tavern level. They also have prepared menus for most types of special occasions, such as bridal showers, weddings, and corporate events.
For smaller special events, the private dining rooms of the restaurant can be configured to suit the special needs of business and leisure occasions.
