Garner is a town in Wake County, North Carolina and a suburb of Raleigh. It is part of the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. Located in Lake Benson Park, Garner Veterans Memorial was dedicated in 2013 to honor all veterans from Garner. Go Play Outside Now is an unique family outdoor recreation center designed in hope to get everyone outdoors. The Garner Performing Arts Center is a spacious art complex and a perfect venue for any kind of performance or a special event. Certain attractions may be temporarily closed or require advance reservations. Some restaurants are currently offering pickup only. Hours/availability may have changed.
1.Garner Veterans Memorial at Lake Benson Park

Located in Lake Benson Park in Garner, North Carolina, Garner Veterans Memorial was dedicated in Lake Benson Park in 2013 to honor all veterans from Garner, but especially veterans who died during conflict and war. There is a sign in the park that describes a brief and educative history of the country’s war-torn past. The memorial was funded by donations from local residents, civic groups, churches and government agencies. The main element of the memorial is the upright Servicemen Remembrance Panel, with engraved names of the men and women who died serving the country. Other veterans from all branches of service are recognized on bricks laid in the Walkway of Honor. The bricks were donated by friends and family of honored Garner residents.

Go Play Outside Now is an unique family outdoor recreation center designed in hope to get everyone outdoors to enjoy the nature all around us. It was created in 2003 on the neglected wooded lot that showed a lot of potential to become a park, a place where kids can play while adults reconnect with their inner child. It took more than a decade for the park to get shaped in what it is today. The park now has more than 30 attractions for the kids of all ages, including beach, clubhouse, dry slide, Fast Eddie's Used Cars, Fire Pit, Halloween, Karaoke, Monkey Bars
Sandy's Swing, Snow, Tire Swings, Wet Slide and more. The park is constantly evolving. It is currently open only by appointment.
