Marty Sanchez Links De Santa Fee is a popular municipal golfing course in Santa Fe. The course offers a number of seasonal golfing options, with many golfers making use of the golfing sets all year round. The scenery it boosts as well as the well-maintained conditions draw many guests to come back and experience them again and again.

The course features gorgeous montane panoramas of the Jemez, Ortiz, Sangre de Cristo, and Sandia mountains, which all come into view when playing a game. The rates are said to be very low with fully accessible local amenities . There are the practice greens, an 18-hole course, a par three course, and a putting area. The par three course has been ranked among the top 3 in the “Big Little Courses in the US” feature by Travel and Leisure magazine.

The Championship Course is a full-length competition that has competitors playing over 5,025 yards from the front tee and 7,272 from the back tee. It has a regulation par of 72 and poses a challenge for those who are low handicapped but is suitable for those who have a higher handicap. It is a huge course, perfect for those who want to put in some serious hours of play. The Great 28 Course is a 9-hole putt and smaller in size than its big brother, the Championship Course. The standard play-set usually equals a total of 1 hour for some players and is smaller in yards, with the front being 1,030, and the back reaching 1,615. There is a set of codes and conducts that need to be adhered to if wanting to participate in all that Marty Sanchez offers, although the rules are quite simple –all they ask is that guests are professional and responsible.

Golfing Attire

Due to a long-standing tradition, the Links De Santa De asks that their dress code is respected when visiting and guests are given a small list to follow: Men may wear Bermuda length shorts or slacks, baseball caps, polo-style shirts with collars, or turtlenecks/mock turtleneck shirts. Women may wear tube or ankle length socks, baseball caps, blouses and suitable shirts, polo-style shirts, and slacks or Bermuda length shorts.

There are lessons for those guests who don’t yet know how to hold a golfing club or whack a ball for six. There is a group, private, and youth lessons with a qualified instructor, who teaches and assists along the way and guests can learn all about chipping, putting, warmups, swing shots, and full swing shots.
