Since 1966, the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center has been dedicated to offering the experience of wildlife and science through its assortment of exhibits, cruises, and tours. Located in Holderess, New Hampshire, the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center is committed to helping the general public understand the importance of the natural ecology of New Hampshire and beyond. Much consideration is taken to ensure that all of the species at the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center are treated humanely and provided with the best atmosphere for their total well-being. Therefore, those who visit the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center are presented with the opportunity to embrace nature at its fullest.
Science Center Hours and Admission
The Squam Lakes Natural Science Center days and hours of operation vary based on the season. The following are the days and hours of operation.
Administrative offices are open all year round from 9:30am to 4:30pm.
The Gephart Exhibit Trail is open daily from May 1 to November 1 from 9:30am to 5:00pm.
Admission prices to the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center vary based on age and membership. Members receive free admission as well as reduced pricing on lake cruises. The center also offers reduced-price passes for those interested in visiting the science center on several occasions throughout the season.
