Brasa Rotisserie was founded by Chef Alexander Roberts, whose first restaurant is Restaurant Alma located in Minneapolis. Chef Alex has a deep reverence for Southern cuisines so, along with Southern comfort fares, the kitchen conjures Caribbean and Mexican flavors at the two Brasa Rotisserie diners located at St. Paul and Minneapolis.
The restaurant serves rotisserie-style meat and other ingredients sourced from local producers who practice sustainable methods of farming. Brasa Rotisserie's Minneapolis location operates 7 days a week. Sunday through Thursday the diner is open from 11:00am to 9:00pm and on Fridays and Saturdays Brasa is open from 11:00am to 10:00pm. Brasa Minneapolis is closed between 2:00pm and 4:00pm every Tuesday. The restaurant remains closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Brasa Rotisserie can offer catering services for a minimum of 12 persons to a maximum of 300 persons with a prior notice of 24-48 hours, depending on the number of guests involved. Brasa's catering menu is available for delivery or pick-up, which is served in large containers to make cleaning easy. The restaurant's catering service includes paper products and the utensils needed for serving.
The catering menu is available on the restaurant’s website with an option to make catering bookings through the online catering request form. Catering requests can also be made by contacting the restaurant’s events manager.
