O'Fallon is a city in St. Charles County, Missouri, between Lake St. Louis and St. Peters. It is part of the St. Louis Metropolitan Statistical Area. O'Fallon was the home of the River City Rascals independent Frontier League baseball team until 2019. The Rascals used to play at CarShield Field, which was built in 1999. Fort Zumwalt Park is a 48-acre park with four-acre Lake Whetsel surrounded by lush woodlands and the replica homestead fort of Jacob Zumwalt. 1.Fort Zumwalt Park
Fort Zumwalt Park is a 48-acre park in O'Fallon, Missouri that includes four-acre Lake Whetsel surrounded by lush woodlands, the replica homestead fort of Jacob Zumwalt, a picnic pavilion, a shelter house and a kids' playground. The fishing season at the lake is from February to October. Every Christmas season, Fort Zumwalt Park hosts O'Fallon's Celebration of Lights, a magical display of light decorations. The park is home to the St. Charles Model Railroad Club and the Darius Heald Home, built in 1884, open for tours by appointment and during special events. All that is left from the original Zumwalt's Fort, a War of 1812 settler fort, is a large limestone chimney. An interpretive sign mark the site. A replica of the original fort, built in 2015, is open for tours. The park also includes a one-mile walking/jogging path.

2.River City Rascals
The River City Rascals was a professional baseball team based in O'Fallon, Missouri. The team was a member of the West Division of the Frontier League, not affiliated with Major League Baseball. From 1999 to 2019 the Rascals played their home games at CarShield Field in O’Fallon. Under the manager Jack Clark, a former St. Louis Cardinals slugger, the team led the Frontier League in home runs. The move of the franchise from Zanesville to O'Fallon greatly increased attendance. The Rascals were named Frontier League Organization of the Year in 1999 and 2000. In October 2018 the city of O'Fallon locked the Rascals out of CarShield Field and terminated the lease. On August 12, 2019, the team announced that it would cease operations after the 2019 season.

Located at the Yateem Legacy Shopping Center in O'Fallon, MO, Two Pink Elephants is a trendy boutique specializing in women's wear, jewelry, accessories, purses and fun and unique gift items. They are best known for carrying latest trends for reasonable prices, as well as for offering plus sizes. The boutique was opened in 2018 by two friends who were selling fashion articles for a while from their homes, before opening the store in their neighborhood. They quickly became a favorite spot for the local ladies to check for the latest trends, discounts or very special gifts. They also provide delivery for out-of-town clients.

What is today Ethyl’s Smokehouse and Saloon has been an eating and drinking establishment in O’Fallon, Missouri since 1926. It started as the Wildwood Saloon and changed the owners and menus several times until it became a homey local hangout with down-home atmosphere, large bar and plenty of big screen TVs to follow the favorite team. Most folks come for the meats off their smoker in the back that produces delicious ribs, brisket, chicken and more. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone including burgers, wings, and of course cold beer. There is a sand volleyball court outside, as well as a nice patio and kids’ playground.

Stefanina’s has been the place where folks in O’Fallon went for a really good pizzas for the last 34 years. Once established in O’Fallon with their delicious thin crust pizzas, fresh pasta and rich Italian sandwiches, it was just a matter of time before they started to grow. Stefanina’s now has six pizza parlors in Missouri, all with the same super pizzas and great service. Their O’Fallon spot is bright and spacious, with cozy private booths and warm light in the evening.
