Maryland Heights is a city in St. Louis County, Missouri, and west-central suburb of St. Louis. Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park, the first park established in St. Louis County, was a popular summer resort in the early 1900s. In its heart is a 320-acre lake. Historic Aircraft Restoration Museum is located at the Creve Coeur Airport and has a significant collection of 1920s and 1930s aircraft. Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre is a large outdoor music venue that has hosted some big names in its time. The Quarry at Crystal Springs is an 18-hole golf course.

1.Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park
Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park is a 2,145-acre park located in Maryland Heights, Missouri. It is the largest of all St. Louis County Parks and it includes a natural oxbow Creve Coeur Lake, one of the largest in Missouri. The park is great destination for picnicking and various sports activities – it has tennis courts, athletic fields and an archery course. Crystal Springs Quarry Golf Course, an 18-hole course, is also located within the park. The Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park Bridge, part of Missouri Route 364, is also in the park. The park has an asphalt walking trail that runs around the lake and connects to a lane on the bridge that runs across the Missouri River and links to the Katy Trail. A significant portion of the park is wetlands, and the park has been used to study various waterfowl.

2.Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre
The Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, previously called Riverport Amphitheatre, UMB Bank Pavilion and Verizon Wireless Amphitheater St. Louis, is a 7,000-seat outdoor concert venue, with additional lawn seating for 13,000. It is located in Maryland Heights, Missouri, near St. Louis. The venue was opened on June 14, 1991, with a concert by Steve Winwood. The amphitheater hosted a range of large names in music world. A riot erupted during the concert by Guns n’ Roses in 1991. The bands REO Speedwagon and Styx performed at the venue in 2000. Sting performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra during his Symphonicities Tour in 2010. The amphitheater also hosted a range of music festivals.
