La Feria in Detroit is a charming little Spanish restaurant that serves authentic tapas along with a selection of wine and cocktails. It’s located along Cass Avenue in Midtown Detroit and has been around since 2012, thanks to three friends who brought the idea to the area. Since then, they’ve been a one of a kind restaurant serving sample plates of their authentic dishes for sharing. Indeed, the restaurant had its own way of making small plates fun.

The remarkably small but pretty establishment can seat about 35 people, with space for a few more along the wall and the bar seats. The place is decorated with selected artwork and posters over ceramic tiles.
For its Spanish fare and low-key ambiance, La Feria has become well-known in its own neighborhood. Of course, it can’t be stressed enough that it’s mainly because of the authentic tapas that they serve. This is all thanks to Seville native Pilar Baron-Hidalgo, who happens to be the chef and co-owner of the place. They really set a high bar for good Spanish food in the neighborhood.
La Feria is open for lunch and dinner six days per week.
Mondays to Thursdays: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
Fridays and Saturdays: 11:00 AM to 12:00 Midnight
La Feria accepts lunch and dinner reservations for Mondays and Thursdays, and lunch for Fridays. They also take group reservations. All reservations can be made by calling 313-285-9081.
Just behind the bar is a blackboard where all of La Feria’s offerings are written. Clearly, the menu items are subject to change.
