Considered to be Provincetown’s most dependable local favorite, the Mews Restaurant and Cafe is set to be open all year round, serving guests with excellent American fare. Coupling their great food and great service with beautiful views of the sea, Mews is definitely the place to be for an evening of fun and entertainment.
The place has consistently received awards and recognitions from the likes of Zagat, Fodors, Cape Cod Life Magazine, and more. But the real proof of the restaurant’s fame lies with how the place is packed almost every night, even during winter! This is why guests are better off getting a reservation if they want to secure a table.
Mews is open every day for dinner. The schedule, however, varies between days and the whether the guest wishes to take the upstairs or downstairs dining room.
Sundays to Thursdays: 5:00 PM to 8:45 PM
Fridays to Saturdays: 5:00 PM to 9:45 PM
Due to the busy schedule of the restaurant, Mews highly recommends making early reservations. In fact, the earlier the reservation, the better chance of getting the desired table, which is important especially for those who want to window table. Reservation is done online at the restaurant’s website.

Mews Restaurant holds an annual Open-Mic Coffee House every Monday starting mid-May. This is an avenue where people can freely present themselves, whether they’re seasoned or new performers. Sign-up sheets open at 6:30 PM and the show begins at 7:00 PM. Due to the special seating arrangements, those who wish to watch the show are advised to make reservations.
From Boston, take Route 3 South until you reach US-6E - Mid Cape Highway and then enter the traffic circle to get to the 2nd exit leading to the State Highway. Turn left on Conwell Street and left again on Bradford Street. Then turn right to Bangs Street and finally another right to Commercial Street.
From New York, take the I95 North and then 195 E - East Providence Cape Cod. Via Exit 22A, merge onto RT 25 and into the traffic circle. Take the 3rd exit to RT6A and merge onto Mid Cape Highway. Enter the traffic circle to get to the 2nd exit and then follow the same directions above.
