What’s your favorite thing to do in the fall? For some people, the arrival of September and October signifies the fact that major holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are getting closer. Others simply appreciate the beauty of watching the trees’ leaves change color and fall down to the ground. For other people, fall is synonymous with apple picking season. In fact, picking apples is one of America’s favorite fall activities, with hundreds of farms and orchards all around the nation opening their gates and letting visitors fill up bags of fresh, juicy apples to be eaten and cooked in a lot of different ways.
