Rooms and Suites
All rooms and suites at the Dana Hotel were designed with an urban, upscale sensibility, with features like exposed, concrete ceilings, hand scraped hardwood floors and an earth-toned color scheme. The majority of the rooms have floor to ceiling windows and private, walk out balconies with views of the city (guests should make sure to request amenities and views when making their reservation).
Guest rooms come in three different options - the comfy king, the serene king, and divine double, and the corner king. Each of these rooms also come with their private wine reserve. All rooms are around 300 square feet in size.
There are also three premium suite options - the Tranquil (590 square feet), the Utopian (670 square feet), and the Nirvana Suites (1,020 square feet). All suites come with a living area and bedroom with king size bed. They also have multiple private balconies and additional, premium amenities.
The Dana Hotel is dog-friendly; however, guests with dog allergies can request a dog free room. These rooms are always kept dog free so guests with allergies can be sure not to encounter any allergens in the rooms during their stay.

Each bed at the hotel features Serta Enrapture II mattresses and luxury bedding.
The bathrooms have showers with rain showerheads and “peek a boo” shower doors made of glass that allow in natural light. Guests can also use the provided plush bathrobes and slippers during their stay, and the hotel provides top of the line shampoos, conditioners, and body washes with every visit.
Rooms and suites also come with their in-room, e-service tablets so that can guests can customize their own experiences. This includes access to the Bowers and Wilkins brand high-fidelity sound system and the ability to order room service with a touch of a button. Guests can also use this tablet to reserve appointments at the spa or pre-order their car from the valet before leaving.
Suites also have additional amenities, including a fully stocked wet bar, sliding wood privacy doors, a separate dressing area, and a soaking tub.
All guests can make use of the in-house concierge service. The staff help guests arrange a variety of services (one popular request is to cover the bed with rose petals before a romantic evening at the Dana Hotel).
Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is provided with all stays.
An additional luxury amenity provided at the hotel is the valet parking and car detail service. For an additional charge, guests can have one of the hotel’s porters park, wash, and detail their car.

The Dana Hotel offers guests access to their 24-hour fitness center with each overnight stay. The fitness center provides state of the art gym equipment by Italian TechnoGym, including treadmills, punching bags, and step machines. The center has panoramic views of the skyline. The machines have all been integrated with the mobile phone app, MobiPT, that provides guests with customizable fitness plans catered to their unique goals.
The Dana Hotel owns and operates a full-service spa on the premises. The spa offers guests their choice of different treatments for their body, face, and spirit. With options like deep tissue massage, energizing ginseng facials, glycolic peels, and the hanakasumi body ritual, guests to the Dana Hotel can treat themselves from head to toe. Reservations can be made by phone or with the in-room tablet.
There are three different restaurants available at The Dana Hotel.
The Apogee Lounge is located on the 26th floor of the hotel. This cocktail bar has been named one of the “hottest” by the Zagat Guide, as well as one of the top rooftop bars (by Conde Nast Traveler). It is open on weekends only and also provides small plates.
Leviathan is another cocktail lounge located in the hotel. True to its name, each cocktail is named after a deep-sea creature. The lounge also offers beer, wine, and other spirits.
The premier restaurant at the Dana Hotel is Portsmith. The restaurant has received a three-star review from the Chicago Tribune. It features a unique menu of seafood, cocktails, and desserts. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and also have weekend brunch. All meals can be eaten on the patio, weather permitting.
