The hotel has 84 guest rooms and suites. Every room comes with one king or two queen size beds. Each room has a fireplace, a large bathroom, with a soaking tub and shower, a desk and large flat screen television, perfect for a low key movie night. Other amenities include a Keurig® coffee maker with a selection of tea and coffee to choose from, and complimentary WIFI. The hotel will also provide laundry and dry cleaning service, the daily morning newspaper, French press coffee and business services for those in need of printing, copying or faxing services.
Willows Lodge also offers Accessible Nicer guest rooms which are 500 square feet in size. These rooms have an open living space filled with luxurious, comfortable furniture that surround a gas fireplace in the seating area. These guest rooms also have large walk-in showers and an oversized tub, so guests can take a nice bubble bath if they are in the mood. All of these guest rooms either have a patio or balcony that overlooks the beautiful outdoors as well. For those guests looking for a breathtaking view, the Accessible Nicer guest rooms are highly recommended. The rooms also include an HDTV and high-speed Internet access for those guests who want to browse the web or catch up on email.
Pet lovers can bring their pets to Willow Lodge. The Willows Lodge has the Willows Very Important Pet Program which provides amenities for pets and offers guests rooms on the first floor that are designed for animal visitors. Herbfarm Restaurant is on-site and is a winner of AAA’s 5 Diamond Award. Here, guests will receive a unique dining experience. It’s a fancier place that offers a nine course fixed price menu with six wine pairings that rotate on an ongoing basis. All of its menu items feature meats and drinks that originated in the Pacific Northwest.
Some menu items include a tartar caviar, which is a hand-cut Oregon bison Tartar served with pinot noir, and Amoosments, a rib cap and rib eye plate, made with beer tart and home-made chili pepper powder, grape sauce and bay leaves. The Amoosements is served with a sweet wine to compliment the meal. Guests looking for a unique dish should try Herbfarm. Reservations are highly recommended and dressy attire is appropriate.
Another restaurant option is the Barking Frog, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests can enjoy breakfast burritos, brioche French toast and biscuits and gravy for breakfast. For lunch, guests can enjoy hearty sandwiches and for dinner, dishes like seared scallops, lamb chops and halibut served with fennel, radish and English peas. The chef only uses local, fresh ingredients. The Barking Frog also offers catering services in their mobile food truck which they use for events like weddings, corporate gatherings and picnics.
For guests who do not want to venture out and want to enjoy breakfast in bed or a relaxing night in can order from one of the hotel’s in-room dining menus. The hotel offers 24 hour dining services and has a breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and dessert menu to satisfy all cravings at every hour of the day.
The Fireside Lounge is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a few cocktails. They have a long list of specialty cocktails like the Fire Sidecar, made with house-infused chai vodka, lemon, lime, orange and Cointreau, with a sugared rim and the Uno, Dos, Tres, made with a nice white tequila, maple syrup and orange bitters. The lounge offers a daily happy hour from 4-6 PM and a perfect pairing event every Wednesday night which, depending on the week, features a winemaker, distiller or brewer who provides samples and teaches guests about the art of making that particular beverage.
They offer a nice outside patio and fire pit that overlooks the garden for a relaxing night of sipping and conversation. Guests can also enjoy a bite to eat here. Some menu items include lamb burger sliders, fig and pig focaccia and a mezze platter.
The hotel offers a variety of spa services which include facials, massage treatments and body treatments. The professional spa therapists and aestheticians use products with all natural and locally grown ingredients. They offer their services in an outdoor cabana next to a private garden or in an indoor treatment room with a fireplace. If guests are looking to enjoy a spa day with a few others, they can request a spa party and all massages and treatments can also take place in the courtyard garden next to the pool.
Guests can request a 60 or 90 minute session for a regular massage, a deep tissue massage, a hot stone massage, a jet lag massage, the list goes on and on for tailored massages available to guests. For example, the hotel offers a sports recovery massage, athletic guests can have toning gel rubbed all over them to help sooth overworked muscles and a massage that focuses on the lymph system. There are also many different kinds of facial services guests can choose from. These include a signature plus facial, a prolift facial and a relaxation facial.
The relaxation facial is highly recommended. This facial focuses on the neck, shoulders and scalp as well as the face. The specialist uses a sunflower exfoliation mask to soften and enrich the skin. Depending on the service, facials and massages cost between $150 and $350.
Willows Lodge has many activities for guests of all ages. For golf lovers, there are multiple golf courses in the area to enjoy. For guests who are up for taking a short drive and like to shop, Apple Farm Village is a great retail shopping center with many different specialty antique and house décor shops. Bellevue Square is also right down the street from the hotel and is full of specialty and department stores like Nordstrom, Anthropologie and Ann Taylor.
The hotel will also organize rafting, kayaking and hiking trips for its guests on the popular and nearby Skykomish and Sammamish rivers during the warm months of the year. Other activities include hot air balloon rides for the adventurous and whale watching tours. As for the wine and craft beer lovers, the hotel is happy to recommend and help guests plan winery and brewery tours and tastings in the area. Winery walks are held twice a month from April to October and allow guests to check out multiple wineries in one tour.
One of the region’s most popular Breweries, Redhook Brewery, is right next door to the hotel and is a great place to grab the freshest beer one may ever taste. Barking Frog is available to cater all types of events. They offer many different plates and hors d'oeuvres options for every meal of the day.
The hotel also hosts corporate events and meetings, as well as rehearsal dinners and large birthday celebrations for up to 140 people. The event space is 5,000 square feet and includes seven separate rooms where different meetings can take place at the same time. The hotel also makes sure all companies and attendees have access to the technology they need to hold productive meetings and provide technical support as well.
The hotel is also available to coordinate team-building activities with third parties. They partner with a company called Roam Consulting, which pairs teams with horses for non-riding activities that focus on teamwork, productivity and building emotional intelligence. This is a different way to present and demonstrate team-building, but the reviews for the program are stellar.
