An excellent selection of food is available via Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort and Spa’s signature Elements Restaurant and Elements Deck, which are open daily for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. The Jade Bar also serves food and is open from late morning until late night. Light meals and dishes for sharing are available at the Infinity Pool from late morning until early afternoon. For social or business events and intimate celebrations, there are numerous private indoor and outdoor dining options.
Room service is available twenty-four hours a day, and the in-room dining menu includes the full restaurant menu in addition to special afternoon and overnight fare. There are also extra choices for younger guests like burger, hot dog, macaroni cheese, and French fries. An amenities menu offers treats like chocolate chip cookies, fresh fruit, trail mix, a cheese platter, and a romance package with champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries.
The resort’s delicious cuisine is American with an Asian twist, with seasonal menus created and overseen by Executive Chef, Beau MacMillan, who is a renowned Food Network celebrity. Dishes include the mouthwatering Seven Spice Hawaiian Opah from the spring dinner menu, which features sesame-roasted eggplant, rock shrimp sticky rice, and a pickled papaya and jalapeño salad.
The Jade Bar is a chic and contemporary venue with ample indoor seating and an outdoor shaded patio with a fireplace. Guests can unwind with a good selection of wines, spirits, beers, and champagnes. However, the imaginative cocktails are the pièce de résistance. Cocktail choices include Emmanuelle’s Request, which has vodka, lychee, cream of coconut, lime and lavender syrup, Scorpion Bowl from the Tiki selection and made with rum, brandy, simple syrup, lemon, orange and orgeat syrup, and Grapefruit Basil with vodka, basil, simple syrup, grapefruit, and lemon. The Jade Bar features live jazz, pop, and R&B music on Friday and Saturday evenings, while on Sunday afternoons there is live music and drinks specials on the patio.
Cocktail-mixing classes called Mixology 101 are held at the Jade Bar every Saturday at noon and teach participants about the history and preparation of three or four cocktails. Private Mixology 101 sessions are also available, and all classes require reservation in advance.
