The Adelmann Building is a gorgeous historic building in Boise's downtown district, originally constructed in 1902 as a personal residence for miner Richard Adelmann. Throughout the 20th century, the building served as an automobile repair shop, a tea garden, an Elk's Fraternity headquarters, and a laundromat. Today, it houses more than 17,000 square feet of dining space throughout its three stories, home to businesses such as the Cafe de Paris restaurant and the Cool Hand Luke's Steakhouse bar. Couples can marry at a number of spaces throughout the venue, including its unique Chinese-style pagoda turret, which offers amazing views of downtown Boise. A reception dance floor, full kitchen facilities, and bride and groom's dressing areas are offered at the Adelmann A Woodriver Event Center, which also provides day-of coordination services for all weddings.
