Cedar House Inn & Yurts offers a variety of accommodation in the form of three well-appointed guest rooms in the inn and fully equipped stand-alone yurts.
The three cabin-style guest rooms in the hotel are decorated in rustic furnishings with warm wood finishes and feature comfortable queen-size beds with handmade quilts and soft pillows, and each has a private bathroom with a shower, vanity, and deluxe bath products. Modern amenities in each room include individual climate control (heating and air-conditioning), clock radios with iPhone/iPod connections, mini fridges, ceiling fans, and complimentary wireless Internet. Each room enjoys a private entrance through French doors and a patio with Adirondack chairs and internal access to the Inn’s main living and dining area.
The Inn also has two self-catering rustic yurts, which are 200 square feet in size feature comfortable queen-size canopy beds with handmade quilts, simulated electric wood stoves, mini-fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, heaters in winter, fans in summer, and private decks with two chairs. The yurts do not have their own bathrooms and guests need to make use of the private bathroom nearby, which features a shower, flushing toilet, sink and bath products. A delicious vegetarian breakfast is served in the Inn’s cozy dining room or on the enclosed screen porch every morning for guests staying at the Inn. Breakfast delights include French toast, quiche Lorraine, fritters, fresh fruit egg dishes, cereals and more, alongside freshly brewed organic coffee and tea.
The nearby town of Dahlonega has a variety of restaurants, cafés, and bars that offer good options for lunch and dinner meals.
