The Equestrian Centre

Castle Leslie Estate is a great place for a horseback riding vacation. Explore the 1,000-acre estate on horseback and test your skills on cross-country jumps, 21 miles of bridleways, gallop and a 50×30 metre indoor arena. If you’ve never been riding before, you can get started on the Horse simulator, a virtual horse for beginners.

Children over 5 can participate in games and competitions, take riding lessons and learn about ponies and horses.

The Spa

The hotel spa offers seven treatment rooms, a relaxation area and a hot tub overlooking the stables. Relax with a diverse menu of massages, wraps, facials and other traditional organic therapies from the ‘Eminence Organics’ & 'Voya'.

Castle Rooms

The 20 guest bedroom in the Castle are furnished with authentic touches and family heirlooms. Each bedroom is individually decorated and offers a unique view of the grounds. There are no televisions, radios, or minibars in the Castle bedrooms which invite guests to rest, sleep and relax. You will, however, have complimentary WiFi access in your room and throughout the Castle. Many bathrooms have large soaking tubs and throne toilets.

  • Red Room: The Red Room is one of the most luxurious at the hotel. It accommodated the famous Irish poet W B Yeats and many ambassadors to Dublin. This beautiful room has stunning lake views, a magnificent four poster bed from Periggia, Italy, and a huge bath which was the first bath ever installed in Ireland.
  • Eagle's Nest: The Eagle's Nest lives up to its name, offering scenic views of the surroundings from its high location in the castle. The balcony offers sweeping views of the beautiful lake and gardens.
  • Mauve Room: The Mauve Room has accommodated royalty and celebrity guests, including Queen Margaret of Sweden, The Duke and Duchess of Connaught, Prince Pierre of Monaco and Mick Jagger.
  • Blue Room: The Blue Room features beautiful blue décor, sketches and paintings.


The Lodge

The Lodge houses 29 guest rooms and the spa. It is situated close to the Equestrian Centre. Complimentary WiFi is available in all public areas and bedrooms at the Lodge. Book one of the superior bedrooms which have balconies overlooking the Equestrian Centre's courtyards.

Guest Cottages

Village cottages offer four- and five-bedroom layouts which are perfect for family reunions and groups. The cottages have sliding sash windows and nine-foot ceilings. The cottages can accommodated up to 10 guests and have spacious living areas with an open fire, TV, DVD, stereo music player and complimentary WiFi.
