Les Saison also is home to a full-service spa. The spa has multiple therapy/treatment rooms that were designed to be calming in nature, and it is staffed by knowledgeable, licensed spa professionals that are prepared to provide top-notch massage with customizable essential oil therapy.

Treatments at the spa include a variety of different massage options, depending on the level of massage therapy each guest is looking for.

Swedish massage is the most relaxing massage available at Les Saison. This style of massage is known for being relaxing for both the mind and the body, while also helping aid circulation. This fluid style of massage is available in both an hour as well as an hour and a half therapy session.

Deep tissue massage is a slightly stronger but still therapeutic and relaxing style of massage therapy. Therapists with use both essential oils as well as arnica to help heal the body and spirit, and guests can purchase either an hour or an hour and a half at a time.

For a slightly warmer option, many guests choose hot stone massage. With this style of massage, a trained therapist will place heated stones at critical points to help enhance the therapy. Combined with aromatherapy, hot stone massage is both healing and calming. It is available for either an hour or an hour and a half.

Pregnant guests can purchase a prenatal massage. Massage therapists trained in prenatal massage will gently help resort guests get some relief in their bodies. This style of massage therapy provides comfort, helps to improve circulation, and helps them relax. Guests must be out of their first trimester of pregnancy (after 12 weeks gestation) to purchase a prenatal massage. Prenatal body cushions will be provided for both safety and comfort. Prenatal massage is available for either an hour or an hour and a half.

The spa also provides couples massage. This type of massage isn’t just for romantic couples, and it can be provided for any two people seeking to relax together. Provided in the resort’s specialized couple’s suite, two massage therapists will work in tandem to provide relief from tension and stress by using a circular motion, kneading, and firm, long strokes. This also helps to improve both metabolism and circulation. Couples massage can also be purchased for either an hour or an hour and a half.

The nearby Sun Valley area is awash in dining options for guests.

For breakfast options, guests can grab a smoothie from 5B Fruit, a cup of coffee at Java, or a full, sit down breakfast meal at Gretchen’s (located just adjacent to the lobby).

Lunch can be purchased from the locally owned Burger Grill, the award-winning Despo’s Mexican restaurant, or the healthy, vegan and organic Glow Live Food cafe.

For dinner, guests can choose the Cellar Pub, Enoteca (a restaurant and wine bar serving gourmet pizza and charcuterie), or Perry’s Restaurant (which has been voted “Best of the Valley” for over 25 years).

Guests can speak directly with a concierge to help guide them or to make reservations locally.

Mountain Biking

During the warmer weather, many resort guests like to venture out and do some mountain biking. There are more than 400 miles of single-track bike trails, hundreds of additional miles of scenic road biking, and over 20 miles of specifically paved and dedicated bike paths in the town. Group rides leave from multiple areas a few times a week. Guests are urged to speak with a concierge for additional information.

Perhaps the biggest draw of a stay at Les Saison Resort is its proximity to many different snow sports on the attached mountain range. Not only does Bald Mountain have nearly 3,500 vertical feet of “fall line” terrain, but nearby Dollar Mountain offers guests a family experience. Resort guests can enjoy not only multiple types of skiing (traditional, Nordic, Heli, and backcountry) but also snowboarding, snowshoeing snowmobiling, and ice skating.

Resort guests can use the individual lockers to store their ski gear, which each come with boot warmers.
