Dawson Taylor Coffee Roasters Downtown is a low-key hangout and neighborhood gathering spot with bright artworks on the walls that serves house-roasted coffee, espresso drinks, and freshly baked goods in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Named after owner Dave’s son, Dawson, the coffee shop has been roasting exceptional, artisan coffee since 1995 and has two locations across town, where coffee is freshly roasted on a daily basis in two traditional European drum-style roasters. The roastery on 8th Street in the heart of downtown Boise offers tours of the roastery where visitors can watch the roasting process and enjoy freshly brewed coffee drinks at the pour-over bar. Dawson Taylor Coffee Roasters Downtown is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, daily.
