The Farm & Retreat offers a range of amenities and both indoor and outdoor activities to enjoy from an assortment of board games and engaging Indiana books to birdwatching and stargazing, fishing in one of two fishing ponds, several excellent walking trails, and two Japanese Soaking Tubs in which to relax. Special services at the farm are available by prior arrangement and include massage therapy in the comfort of the yurts applied by licensed massage therapists and Chinese medicine consultations provided by owner Rosa Lee, who is well versed in the branch of traditional Chinese medicine. The farm boasts three secluded yurts with a shared deck and beautiful views over the valley. Each yurt is decorated with antique furnishings, including two comfortable beds with vintage linens, handmade quilts and soft pillows, a small refrigerator and microwave, and central heating and air conditioning. Additional amenities include a hot/cold water dispenser, an outdoor shower with complimentary towels provided, achimney for cozy fires, an outdoor grill for barbecues and a fire ring. A hot gourmet breakfast is delivered to the yurts each morning in a basket. Prepared and created from fresh locally sourced ingredients, the menu always features delicious surprises to start the day and includes mouthwatering dishes such as different kinds of eggs, breakfast meats, freshly baked pastries, rolls and bread, homemade preserves, yogurt, cheeses, cereals and fresh fruit. Freshly brewed coffee, tea and other hot beverages are available to accompany the meal.

When the weather is bad, indoor entertainment such as CD players, and an assortment of board games and engaging Indiana books will keep you occupied. When the sun is shining, there are a variety of outdoor activities such as birdwatching and stargazing, fishing in one of two fishing ponds, several excellent walking trails, and two Japanese Soaking Tubs in which to relax. These non-jetted soaking tubs are chemical-free and treated with minerals, and are heated to 104 degrees for a warm, rejuvenating soak. One tub overlooks the Zen Garden and a lovely little pond, while the other tub is closer to the yurts.

Attractions in the area include the Huffman Mill and Covered Bridge, which was built in 1864 in honor of George and Nancy McDaniel Huffman who settled on the Spencer County side in 1810 and erected a water-powered mill.
