The building was first constructed in 1904 as the first car dealership in the south and one of the oldest in the country. Bryson Hall occupies the former Packard showroom. Cohen’s Retreat was built in the 1930s and funded by Percy Cohen. Today the building is a restaurant and special events space specializing in southern small plates, delicious sandwiches, and amazing desserts; as well as delectable entrees highlighting the regional fish and meat. There are three events spaces at Cohen’s Retreat—The Art Tank, The Porch, and The Library. The Art tank can accommodate up to 100 guests, while the other two spaces are smaller and more intimate. 8.Dresser Palmer House
The Dresser Palmer House provides ideal outdoor and indoor settings for a premier southern wedding. The courtyard is covered in wisteria and couples can choose to elope, or rent the entire house to host a large wedding. Elopement packages include a 1-hour ceremony and cake reception with a minister, bridal bouquet, cake, and campaign included. Couples also enjoy a two-night stay. 9.Forsyth Park Inn

10.Georgia State Railroad Museum
The Georgia State Railroad Museum is the perfect wedding venue for couples looking for historic space that is versatile and can accommodate large weddings. The Harper Fowlkes House is a Greek Revival style home constructed in 1842 that features antique, 19th-century furnishings, artworks including painting and sculptures, and an expansive garden with a full catering kitchen. The museum hosts elegant outdoor, covered weddings in the evenings only with no indoor space available. The total garden space covers two acres with a maximum wedding guest capacity of 360 guests in the Assembly Room or 200 in the Scarborough Garden. The Clyde is a new event venue that recently opened in 2018. The 5,200 square foot, the modern building, can accommodate up to 200 seated guests. Whitefield Chapel is one of the most visited wedding ceremony sites in Savannah and is found on Bethesda Academy Campus. The historic chapel was the host of several celebrity weddings in Savannah including Mandy Moore and Joe Nickles.
