The Tampa Museum of Art is a contemporary museum that houses an outstanding collection of modern and classical art. Set along Tampa’s Riverwalk on the banks of the Hillsborough River, the Museum was founded in 1979 and introduced an award-winning new building in 2010 with polished stone floors and an awe-inspiring translucent ceiling.

Designed by Stanley Saitowitz to look like a work of art in itself, the award-winning building reflects the image of “an electronic jewelry box sitting on a glass pedestal” and features glass, aluminum, and fiber optic color-changing lights in the exterior wall.
