Located acres amid rolling hills 25 miles west of Orlando, the Lakeridge Winery and Vineyards, Clermont is one of Florida’s foremost wine producers. The vineyards cover over 127 acres and produce large yields of native Muscadine grapes as well as some international varietals like Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Petite Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. When you visit the winery for a free tour and tasting you can look forward watching an introductory video explaining the production process before tasting a selection of wines ranging from dry to sweet and usually including a sparkling wine. The winery hosts regular festivals and events – you can check online to see what’s happening.
