The area is a Mecca for golfers who have several great courses to enjoy, and polo fans come from near and far to enjoy the elaborate facilities at the International Polo Club, one of the largest of its kind in the world. If you love nature and wildlife you can visit the Panther Ridge Conservation Center, Peaceful Waters Sanctuary or the Okeeheelee Nature Center and trail. Children will love the Tiger Shark Cove Community Park and the Palm Beach Skate Zone. You can add a touch of culture to your trip with a visit to the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach. Visitors are invited to take a step back in time to the 1920’s when they visit Ford’s Garage in the Wellington Green Mall. Ford’s Garage is the local Wellington ‘Burger and Beer” place, which stands out from the rest of the town’s restaurants because it is themed to resemble a 1920’s service station, complete with props like vintage Ford vehicles, gas pumps and more. The menu is by no means vintage and includes prime beef burgers with a modern twist. Other favorites include their range of salads (which can be supplemented with shrimp, chicken, salmon or a beef patty) and a selection of delicious comfort foods and sandwiches. There are 40 craft beers on tap to wash down your meal.
