The West Bay Club & Spa is located in the West Wight, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is also known as the ‘Garden Isle’ because of its spectacular natural scenery and 30 miles of Heritage Coastline made up of rugged cliff faces and pristine beaches. Exploring the Isle of Wight can be done by walking or hiking on over 500 miles of award-winning public footpaths and cycling or mountain biking on more than 200 miles of bike tracks. Other activities include horseback riding on the sandy beaches, sailing or watching the experts do it during Cowes Week, visiting Queen Victoria’s summer home at Osborne House, wandering the clifftops and discovering why Dickens, Keats, and Tennyson all found inspiration here.
The Island is home to a variety of fun activities and adventures for the whole family, including museums, galleries, theme parks, historical sites, landscaped gardens and stately homes. Notable attractions include Appuldurcombe House, Queen Victoria’s Osborne House and the Royal gardens that surround it, dinosaur attractions and activities, and Ventnor Botanic Gardens. There are a variety of theme park adventures that offer roller coasters, pirates, animal attractions, fantasy and adventure for children of all ages.
