There’s an innumerable number of choices for visitors who are looking for ways to spend the day, and during the summer months, nothing beats a trip to an amusement park. 1.Six Flags America

So large and extensive, one day feels like it isn’t enough to enjoy everything Six Flags America has to see and do. There are over 100 exciting rides, shows, and attractions at the park, including Hurricane Harbor waterpark. The park is open seasonally during the summer months and for weekends during their Holiday in the Park festivities. For adults, one-day tickets are $49.99 if purchased online and $69.99 if bought at the door. Kids aged two years or older and under 48” get discounted rates as well. One of the newer attractions added is the Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth, which is one of the tallest additions to the park.

2.Adventure Park USA

For over 10 years, Adventure Park USA has given people a place to go and spend the warm summer days having fun with their friends and family. Their newest addition is the Hologate Virtual Reality attraction, which offers full sensory immersion and is an experience like no other. If you’re looking for good, old-fashioned roller coasters and go-karts, Adventure Park USA has those too! The adventures are endless, and families can even spend the day playing miniature golf or a game of laser tag – there are 125 games, rides, and attractions to choose from! You can buy individual credits for just the games and rides they want to play or buy all-day passes, which range from $26 to $35.

3.Great Waves Waterpark

4.Ocean Dunes Waterpark

Imagine getting soaked by having 500 gallons of water dumped on you to cool you down on a hot summer day. What about swiveling at high speeds down a waterslide that throws you into a refreshing pool in the end? Ocean Dunes Waterpark is an awesome place to spend the day with friends and family; the beach-themed park has water slides, dumping buckets, waterfalls, and a large swimming pool, all of which interconnect with tubes and tunnels. If you want a break from all the water activities, there’s also a mini-golf course and a batting cage.

Since 1975, Kings Dominion has been a place for friends and family to have a memorable day riding roller coasters, getting soaked in the waterpark, and eating all the fun treats amusement parks are known for. Kings Dominion has over 60 rides, shows, and attractions as well as a 20-acre waterpark filled with slides and tunnels. Visitors can walk down International Street, which has shops and restaurants from different cultures as well as a ? scale replica of the Eiffel Tower. Rides that are popular with visitors include the floorless roller coaster, the Dominator, and the Anaconda, which is a looping roller coaster that goes through an underwater tunnel.
