The Rehoboth Guest House, which operates out of Rehoboth, Delaware, is a bed and breakfast that is proudly gay owned and operated. The Guest House has been in operation for over 30 years and is just moments away from the Atlantic Ocean and the downtown area, which has a boardwalk, tax free shopping, and multiple dining experiences. The Rehoboth Guest House has been named the fifth best bed and breakfast in the state of Delaware, as well as being the most “hip.”

The guest rooms have large, picture windows to allow for as much natural light as possible in. There are 14 available for rent on both floors of the Guest House. 10 of the guest rooms have their private bathrooms, while the other four have shared bathrooms (these guest rooms are located on the second floor).
The first floor of the Guest House has guest rooms 11, 12, and 13. Guests can choose between a full or a queen size bed in a spacious room that is meant for comfort and relaxation. Guest room 13 has a private entrance on the Guest House’s back porch as well.
The second floor of the Guest House has guest rooms 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26. All of the beds on this floor have full size beds. Room #25 has a private balcony with a table and chairs.
The third floor of the Guest House has guest rooms 31, 32, 33, 34, and 35. Room #31 is considered the Rehoboth “King Suite,” with a large, California king size bed, and a full-size sleeper sofa.
In addition to the 14 available guest rooms in the Guest House, there is also a single, 500 square foot oceanfront condominium available for guests to rent. The condo features a 16-foot oceanside balcony, a full kitchen, a queen size bed with additional full-size pull-out sleeper sofa and a 50-inch flat screen television. Renters must be over the age of 18, and no pets are allowed.
Each guest accommodation has a 32-inch flat screen television, mini refrigerator, alarm clock/radio, and a either a shared or a private bathroom. The bathrooms have tile floors and a hair dryer for guest use. Guest rooms and condos also come with a safe so that guests can lock up their valuables. Many of the rooms have ceiling fans. Some of the larger guest rooms at the Guest House (those on the third floor) have small dressers/armoires for guests to hang clothes and a sitting area with a luggage rack. Daily room cleaning services are available. The Guest House also provides complimentary wireless internet access for all guests. There is a large, shared living/common room as well as a kitchenette with a microwave for guest use 24 hours a day.
There are many outdoor amenities and common areas for guest to mingle with other guests or enjoy solo. The Guest House has a large front porch with rocking chairs and a porch swing. The backyard of the Guest House features both a ground level deck as well as a second-floor sun deck. There are also two large outdoor showers with additional changing rooms for guests coming back after a day at the beach. The side yard of the premise has both a beach chair and a bicycle rack.
The dining room at the Guest House has large, dining tables so that larger groups of guests can dine together and enjoy the complimentary breakfast. Dining is also available on the front and back porches (small tables) as well as the second-floor sun porch (two tables).
Breakfast is made fresh every morning in the chef’s kitchen. They serve a variety of hot breakfast items like pancakes, waffles, and breakfast meats as well as baked goods made in house and hot coffee and tea.
Nearby Beach Activities
The nearby town of Rehoboth has both a beach and a boardwalk recreational area. The beach area has the title of the best beach located on the east coast of the United States, and the boardwalk is a mile long and filled with shops, amusements, and dining opportunities. There are also frequent special events and festivals held on the boardwalk, which is just a short walk from the Guest House resort. Guests should make sure to review the rules and regulations before visiting, as they discuss animal and bicycles regulations, and open times.
