Silver Shadow: Mandara Spa and Spacious Suites
With 388 guests and 295 crew, Silver Shadow is an intimate cruise ship offering all the luxuries of modern cruising. It features elegant suites, Mandara Spa, relaxing lounge areas, celebrity guest chefs and a number of unique entertainment options. Guests are accommodated in sophisticated suites, most with a private teak veranda. The 134 Veranda Suites measure 345 square feet and feature a separate seating area, walk-in closet, writing desk, marbled bathroom with a full-sized bath tub and separate shower. The mid-sized Medallion and Silver Suites are larger, measuring 521 and 701 square feet respectively. The largest accommodations, the Owner's, Grand and Royal Suites range from 1,208 to well over 1,435 square feet.
The cruise line features exceptional cuisine prepared by award-winning Master Chefs and served by European-trained waiters. The ship has an open-seating policy that allows guests to dine with the companions of their choice at the time they prefer. The Restaurant is a formal dining room with three grand chandeliers, a dance floor, and high-backed cherry wood chairs. Guests can be seated at tables, adorned with Frette tablecloths and Christofle Silverware, that accommodate from two to six people. Built in 1994, Silver Cloud is one of the four luxury ships operated by Silversea.
