Norwegian Sky sails on five to 17-day itineraries in Alaska, the Caribbean, Pacific Coast, and Panama Canal. To provide their guests with better service and more dining options as a part of the company's Freestyle Cruising experience, the 2,000-passenger ship has an average of one crew member per stateroom and offers extended hours in restaurants.

Guests can choose from numerous activities, including basketball, ping-pong, various games, dancing, and theme nights. There are two pools on Pool Deck, and four hot tubs. Pool Deck also features Sprinkles Ice Cream parlor and European Gelateria. A separate pool for children is located on Sports Deck.

Choose from several dining venues. The Seven Seas Dining Room and Four Seasons Dining Room have large windows with scenic views and serve innovative cuisine for which the company has earned recognition from the Confrerie del la Chaine des Rotisseurs society.

Horizons serves Italian cuisine in an intimate setting. It offers tables for two or four guests and large scenic windows. Dishes include Forest Mushroom Ravioli in Roast Onion Broth, and Braised Lamb Shanks in Red Wine, Herbs and Root Vegetables.

Le Bistro, located on Sports Deck, serves French Mediterranean cuisine. Guests can be seated indoors and outdoors, and enjoy a table-side cooking service.

On Pool Deck, guests can choose from three casual eateries: Ciao Chow serving pasta and gourmet California-style pizza; Garden Cafe offering breakfast/luncheon buffets; Great Outdoor Cafe serving breakfast/luncheon buffets and snacks.

Guests can relax and meet new people at numerous lounges and bars, including the modern Internet Cafe and the traditional Churchill's Cigar Bar. Checkers Cabaret, located on Promenade Deck, is one of the longest cabaret bars at sea offering live music and dancing. Stardust Lounge is a two-story show lounge featuring entertainment at sea.

Churchill's features hand-rolled premium cigars, humidor, fine cognac served in warm glasses, malt whiskey and relaxed seating. Atrium Champagne Bar comes alive with piano music and guests enjoying caviar, pate foie gras, champagne and premium vodkas. Windjammer Martini Bar offers a special martini menu, piano bar and lounge. Specialty coffees can be sampled at the Coffee Bar located on International Deck.

Observation Lounge on Pool Deck has floor-to-ceiling windows. It offers high tea with white glove service and strolling musicians. It also serves as a disco by night. Pool Deck is home to other bars, including Topsider’s Bar with outdoor tables, Sports Bar, and The Zone. On Sports Deck, Champs Bar has outside tables overlooking the pool area, and Gatsby’s Wine and Tapas Bar offers wine by the glass.

Public rooms on the ship include a library, Photo Gallery, Jogging/Walking Track, Monte Carlo Casino, Galleria Shops featuring duty-free shopping, a beauty salon, spa and gym area.

For families and kids, the ship offers the Kids Korner featuring trained youth counselors and several programs based on age group, including Junior Sailors (ages 3-5), First Mates (ages 6-9), Navigators (ages 10-12), and Teens (ages 13-17). Splashes Children’s Pool is a shallow pool with waterfall and separate hot tub. The ship also has a Video Arcade and a disco exclusively for teens (ages 13 – 17) called The Club.
