The 2,350-guest Majesty of the Seas provides short weekend getaway trips to the Bahamas, visiting Cococay, Key West (on the 4-day cruise), Miami, and Nassau, Bahamas, along the way. This itinerary offers numerous things to, both aboard the ship and on land. There are two outdoor pools, two outdoor whirlpools, nine bars and lounges, and a cinema which shows first-run movies daily.

Public areas include a seven-story atrium surrounded by bars, lounges and shops, and a casino with slot machines, video poker, blackjack, craps, roulette and Caribbean stud poker. Chorus Line Lounge presents live music, dancing, and Broadway-style revues. Paint Your Wagon Lounge also features live music, dancing, and entertainment. Signature lounge, Viking Crown Lounge, features spectacular views by day and lively dance music at night.

The main dining room, decorated with fresh colors and images of spring, offers a choice of different menus. Guests can also dine at the Windjammer Cafe which serves buffet-style breakfast and lunch, and casual dinners.

The ShipShape Fitness Center & Spa offers aerobics and stretch classes, free weights, and cardio machines. If you prefer to lie back and relax, the spa provides pampering treatments.

For families, there is the Adventure Ocean program which provides supervised, daily activities for kids ages 3 to 17. Children can participate in a number of exciting family vacation activities based on their age group. The Adventure Science program, for example, introduces hands-on science projects. Other activities kids can enjoy include karaoke, sports, painting, talent shows, a computer lab, and video arcades. Baby sitting services are also available aboard the ship.

To find out about all of the activities available on shore, guests can visit the Explorations Desk and receive the information they need. Activities include snorkeling, nature lectures, parasailing, and marine life exploration. Of course, you can also just simply relax and unwind on a sandy beach in the Bahamas.

Bahamas with Departures from Miami

The ship offers two types of Bahamas Cruise itineraties year-round. The ship departs from Miami on three and four-day trips which include a stop at Nassau and CocoCay, Bahamas. On the 4-day sailing, guests also visit Key West, Florida.

CocoCay is a secluded tropical island in the Bahamas, reserved exclusively for Royal Caribbean guests. It offers aquatic facilities, nature trails, and sandy beaches. Those who feel adventurous can try parasailing above CocoCay, while certified divers can scuba dive crystal-clear waters of the Bahamas. There is also amazing snorkeling and kayaking (there is an extra fee for these land based activities).

In Nassau, guests can choose from a variety of activities.
