Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center is a nonprofit museum and outreach organization overseen by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, located adjacent to the tribally-owned Foxwoods Resort Casino. The museum, which was opened to the public in 1998, strives to foster understanding of the history and culture of the Pequot and other indigenous people throughout the United States and Canada. 85,000 square feet of permanent exhibit space details the natural history of the Mashantucket region and the history of the Pequot, from the group's arrival in the region to their reservation removal in the 1600s up through present-day next-generation Native perspectives. Exhibits include a recreated 16th-century Pequot village and daily showings of the 30-minute documentary film The Witness, which details the 1637 Pequot War. Indigenous cuisine is served up at the Pequot Cafe, while Native artisan works are sold at the Trading Post Gift Shop.

Foxwoods Resort Casino is a spectacular 9,000,000-square-foot casino and resort complex in Ledyard, operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation since 1986. Foxwoods Thrill Tower is a unique choose-your-adventure thrill ride that offers two of New England's most exciting ride experiences, located at the Foxwoods Resort Casino. The tower, which was added to the resort's grounds in 2017, is home to the thrilling 10-story Sky Drop drop tower ride, which lifts riders up into the air before launching them downward in an exhilarating free fall experience. On the other side of the tower, groups of two riders at a time can experience the unique human catapult experience of Sky Launch, which tosses riders more than 140 feet into the air and completes several revolutions before returning to the ground. Stunning views of the surrounding hillside are offered from both rides, which are located outside the lobby of the resort's Fox Tower. Ticket rates are offered for individual rides or for combination experiences on both rides, with rides available between noon and midnight seasonally.

Spellbound Escapes is an exciting escape room game experience at the Tanger Outlets retail complex at Foxwoods Resort Casino, opened to the public in October of 2018. The immersive game experience, which was created by Jenny Killoran, challenges participants to escape a themed room within 60 minutes or less, using clues found throughout the room to aid in their escape. Themed puzzle games include The Temple of the Laughing God, which challenges participants to uncover the secrets of mysterious Mayan ruins that are said to house the spirit of a malevolent entity.
