Fruition Restaurant is a tiny neighborhood restaurant and foodie destination located in central Denver's historic district. The restaurant was started by Chef Alex Seidel in February 2007 and ever since its inception, the restaurant has served distinguished farm-to-table New American cuisine in a casual dining atmosphere. The restaurant is strategically located minutes from downtown in the neighborhood of Cherry Creek North, Capitol Hill, and Cheesman Park.
Fruition Restaurant offers Chef Alex Seidel’s signature comfort food that consists of creative and seasonally inspired dishes. The eatery's ever changing list of seasonal wines pairs perfectly with Fruition's seasonal food. Both food menu and wine list change seasonally throughout the year at Fruition Restaurant.
Chef Alex Seidel
Chef Seidel grew up in Wisconsin and started his culinary career at a young age of 14 starting as a sous chef. Fruition Restaurant was Chef Seidel's debut restaurant, after which the chef purchased a ten-acre farm outside of Denver in 2009. The Fruition Farms Dairy & Creamery is the first to produce Colorado’s first artisanal sheep milk cheeses. Further in 2015, Seidel started Mercantile Dining & Provision, a restaurant and European-style market located in Denver’s historic Union Station.
Hours of Operation
Fruition Restaurant serves dinner and is open all days of the week, Monday through Saturday from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. On Sundays, the restaurant is open from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
· Starters – chilled pea and coconut velouté, asparagus salad, Fruition Farms chopped kale, Burgundian escargot, confit rabbit orecchiette, potato-wrapped oysters Rockefeller, and pasta carbonara
· Main Courses - Maple Leaf Farms duck breast, pan-roasted sturgeon, confit pork shoulder, grilled bavette steak, seared diver scallops, pan-roasted lamb loin, and the two-course “Grazing Vegetarians”
Fruition Restaurant's Finishing Touches menu offers house-made grapefruit poundcake, F. F. ricotta cheesecake, coconut pudding, Fruition Farms cheese tasting, lemon meringue pie, and other seasonally inspired desserts that are made daily at the restaurant's bakery. The menu also offers a wide range of after-dinner drinks.
Fruition Restaurant selects wines that pair well with the restaurant's seasonal cuisine. Fruition's wine purveyors are small and independent producers whose wines display variety, balance, and a unique characteristic taste. The restaurant's wine list consists of sparkling, white, rosé, and red wines offered by the glass and by the bottle. The drinks list also offers a rotating menu of handcrafted cocktails, cellar beers, and other beers.
Fruition Restaurant has partnered with OpenTable for free, secure, and instantly confirmed online reservations. Due to the limited capacity of Fruition's dining room, the restaurant accepts limited reservations for parties up to six. Parties larger than six people need to call the restaurant to make dine-in bookings.
Fruition Restaurant offers space for private events for prior bookings made online. All private event bookings are to be made on the restaurant’s website by submitting an online request form for private event bookings. The events form is available under “contact” on the restaurant’s website.
