10.Rockin' S Ranch
This ranch has been a fully functioning dairy farm since the 1950s. It is situated outside Johnstown in northern Colorado and is surrounded by the Rocky Mountains. Chris Friede purchased the property in 2011 and has added a wedding service to the enterprise. Eight acres of the ranch are dedicated to this purpose. The ceremony takes place in a rural setting, in a field adjacent to the lake, with a waterfall in the background. 16.Molly Brown Summer House
The story of the Unsinkable Molly Brown's marriage is a romantic one. She wanted to marry a rich man but fell in love with someone poor. She married him anyway. He went on to discover a gold mine so she ultimately had all she wanted. The house was built in 1897 and sold to the Fehlman family in 1928. This site was once the home to 15000 American soldiers who, after the Second World War turned it into a skiing and tourist destination. They built a 6000 foot lodge, a restaurant and rustic cabins for overnight accommodation. Woods Walk is accessed via a short trail through the woods and overlooks the town of Crested Butte. Peanut Lake is set in open grassland and willow trees. It is easily accessible and suitable for parties of up to 100 people. Gunsight Bridge is on the River Slate, with views of Paradise Divide. It is not far from the road and suitable for smaller groups. Lower Loop is about a mile from the trailhead along a flat, easy pathway.
