Given its proximity to the pier, main drag, and city, the JW Marriott Santa Monica is surrounded by dozens of restaurants offering many different types of cuisine and a variety of bars. On site, guests can enjoy a meal at the Cezanne, a French restaurant onsite, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, guests can indulge at the buffet, where eggs, breakfast sandwiches, cereal, fresh fruit, and pancakes are served, or order a nice salmon, filet, or ravioli and crab bisque entree for lunch or dinner. Nearby, guests can find great seafood at the Lobster restaurant, awesome Caribbean fare at Cha Cha Chicken, a memorable meal at the famous Ivy, or delicious Mexican at Blue Taco all on Ocean Avenue. The lobster restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and Brunch on Sundays.
Visitors can order items like the Alaskan Halibut or lobster omelet for brunch, a shrimp and pork belly sandwich for lunch and seared crab cakes served with avocado puree and arugula, oven dried tomato and shaved fennel salad. The Blue Taco is the place to go if one is craving Mexican food. The restaurant serves up dishes like chicken enchiladas, fajitas, and tacos served with fish, shrimp, chicken, steak, and short rib fillings. They also have fantastic margaritas that come in many different flavors, which include an exotic hibiscus prickly pear flavor and a margarita called the "tap out" served with cucumber, jalapeno and agave. There are so many restaurants to choose from around the hotel, guests will find anything and everything they are craving.
As for bars, there are many to choose from. For guests looking to enjoy a cocktail on-site, they should check out the Lobby Sports bar. Conveniently located on the first floor, guests can order a refreshing fruity cocktail, glass of wine, or beer and relax at the high top bar stools or at the bar. Some nice bars in the area include the Bungalow, Bodega Wine Bar, the Misfit, Chez Jay, and the basement tavern. Each bar has its own vibe and offers a variety of craft cocktails, wine, and beer as well as food. Head to Bodega Wine Bar for a glass of red wine or a tasty mixed drink like the Soju Buck, made with soju, ginger beer and lime, and spend an evening sipping on mixed drinks like the pimm's punch or bijou at the Misfit Bar on Santa Monica Boulevard.
