At the end of the day, museums are meant to give people a chance to learn and grow with the exhibits around them and that’s also the case for the Habitot Children’s Museum, where they believe that they have the tools to give children all they need to develop their skills and talents. The Habitot Children’s Museum has numerous exhibits that keep changing throughout the year, offering visitors of all ages a chance to explore the vast world around them. One of the exhibits currently being featured at the museum is “Rocketship & Mission Control,” which is a model of a ginormous rocketship. The exhibit is meant to encourage young kids to explore the ship as they please and learn about science along the way. Unlike other museums, where all you have to do is stand behind the line, look, and interpret, the Habitot Children’s Museum allows, and even encourages, kids to touch everything. This exhibit in particular features a lot of interactive tools to make the entire experience of being in a rocket ship more immersive.
There are numerous other exhibits at the Habitot Children’s Museum that give children a better glance of the world around them and provide them with a hands-on experience of some of the things that make the world go round. Another good stop is the Waterworks exhibit, an interactive tool that teaches kids all they need to know about the world's most valuable resource known to man. There are toys and instruments that kids can pick up and use, teaching them through a hands-on experience.
The Habitot Children’s Museum also has numerous learning activities and classes for children as well as adults. The courses for children are designed to capture a child’s interest using an interactive learning experience. The courses are conducted all the year round after museum opening hours. In addition, numerous special courses run during the summer vacation to keep children occupied and learning during their summer break. Parents can also benefit from the numerous child raising courses conducted here.
