Deetjens Inn Big Sur Inn features delightful accommodations in the form of original guest rooms built in the mid-1900s, each with a unique character and charm. Romantic and rustic and decorated with treasures from the past, guest rooms feature high quality single, double, or queen-size beds with 100% linen sheets, private or shared bathrooms with showers, bathtubs, vanities and fresh towels. Five historic rooms are located in the Hayloft Building and share two bathrooms, while all other rooms enjoy private bathrooms, and some rooms have wood-burning stoves, private decks, beautifully landscaped gardens or views over the gardens.
The restaurant at Deetjens features traditional English décor, including the beautiful old redwood bar, which was salvaged from a nearby ranch and is open for breakfast and dinner every day. Guests can enjoy a delicious home cooked breakfast each morning of homemade granola and yogurt, eggs Benedict, huevos rancheros, and smoked salmon bagels, along with fresh fruit juices and freshly brewed coffee and tea. Dinner is served in one of four romantic candlelit rooms each evening and menus include organic dishes prepared from locally sourced ingredients and produce from regional farms, accompanied by offers carefully selected wines from the wine cellar.
