Within Cavallo Point’s Historic Lodging, former officers’ residences have been transformed into spacious, family-friendly suites. The buildings are located on an expansive green space that encircles the ten-acre parade-ground and offer views of the adjacent hillside or the dramatic San Francisco skyline.

Cavallo Point features an extensive art collection, and an array of predominantly black and white photography decorates the accommodations in the Historic Lodging. Each accommodation highlights one or two artists, including Candace Plummer Gaudiani, Robert Dawson, and acclaimed San Franciscan Imogen Cunningham. Cavallo Point’s Historic Lodging comprise rooms, suites, and a two-bedroomed house, with pet-friendly accommodations available for all options.

Historic Rooms offer a king or queen-sized bed, spacious closet and separate bathroom in around four hundred square feet of accommodation. Historic Deluxe rooms provide a little more space with a king or queen-sized bed, large separate bathroom, and separate sitting room. First floor Historic Rooms and Historic Deluxe rooms also include a shared front porch furnished with rocking chairs. Positioned on the hillside adjacent to Fort Baker, the green architecture of the Contemporary Lodging provides stylish accommodations with features such as underfloor radiant heating, bamboo furnishings, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Cavallo Point’s extensive art collection is displayed throughout the resort, and in the Contemporary Lodging there there is a selection of conceptually-based photography, with the work of one artist featured in each accommodation. Contemporary Lodging comprises a selection of rooms and suites, and all are available as pet-friendly if required. Contemporary Two Queens offer 455 square feet of accommodation with two queen beds in one room and a separate bathroom. Totaling almost 500 square feet, the accommodation includes a king-sized bed and a private deck or patio.

The Contemporary King Suite offers almost 600 square feet of accommodation comprising a king-sized bed, sitting room with window seat, separate bathroom with dual sinks, tub and shower, and a two-sided fireplace that can be enjoyed in both the bedroom and the sitting room. The Contemporary King Suite includes a private deck or patio and is secluded and romantic, making it the perfect choice for couples’ getaways.

 

Guests at Cavallo Point can dine in the elegant Murray Circle Restaurant, which is renowned throughout the Bay Area as a top culinary destination. With a local, seasonal menu developed by Chef Monique Feybesse, diners can enjoy a seasonal menu which incorporates simple, yet bold, techniques.

Kids’ Breakfast and Lunch Menus are available, as is a Chef’s Tasting Menu for those wishing to sample a variety of the kitchen’s offerings. Murray Circle Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a Lazy Weekend Brunch available on Saturdays and Sundays and extended dinner serving times on Friday and Saturday evenings.

A Room Service Menu is available daily from early morning until late evening. Drinks include a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, while food choices include breakfast, starters, salads, entrées, desserts and kids’ options. Guests can also order the Headlands Picnic Basket from the Room Service Menu for days out.

An In-Room Bartender is available at any time of day or night to prepare cocktails, deliver pre-made cocktails or deliver cocktail ingredients for guests to mix themselves. The service includes liquor and accompaniments to serve four to five cocktails of choice.

The Tea Bar is situated within the Healing Arts Center and Spa and provides delicious non-alcoholic beverages within peaceful surroundings. The Tea Bar has both indoor and outdoor seating and is open daily from morning through to evening.

 

Cavallo Point’s Healing Arts Center and Spa is a tranquil haven for guests to unwind and rejuvenate the senses. Spa treatments are provided by highly trained therapists and include indulgent Massage, Body Treatments such as exfoliation and Skincare such as facial.
