Preserving a vast tract of the Diablo Range, Henry W. Coe State Park spans over 87,000 acres which makes it the second largest state park in California. The park was established in 1959, and though it is officially named Henry W. Coe State Park, many of the locals there refer to it as the Orestimba Wilderness.
