3.Catherine's Terrace At Descanso Beach Club
The Catherine's Terrace At Descanso Beach Club opened in 2015 and overlooks the Descanso Beach Club, offering an amazing vantage point for viewing the Descanso Cove’s blue-green waters, as well as the landmark building of the island, the Art Deco casino. The event space features an outdoor living room and a wide terrace, offering a combined outdoor and indoor space for wedding receptions, with accommodation for between 250 and 300 guests, or space indoors for a sit-down dinner with up to 150 guests. 4.Catalina Country Club
Overlooking the picturesque town of Avalon from its location on a hilltop, the Catalina Country Club is an excellent example of the Early California Revival architectural style, with a hand-tiled Mediterranean roof and floor-to-ceiling French doors and windows. A brick walkway welcomes guests onto the historic and spacious property. The brick terrace, just off of the main entrance of the Catalina Country Club offers a great spot for smaller, intimate wedding ceremonies. Receptions can be held in the same spot with the ocean backdrop, or in the banquet room. The Fountain Terrace upstairs is another beautiful spot for weddings.

5.Banning House Lodge

The Banning House Lodge, situated at the West End of Catalina Island, is located within the Two Harbors Village and is the former summer home of the Banning brothers, owners of the Santa Catalina Island during the early part of the 1900’s. The Craftsman-style residence is now a bed-and-breakfast that offers a picturesque setting for intimate weddings with a cozy atmosphere and sweeping views of the Catalina Harbor and the Isthmus of Catalina from the hilltop perch. The Banning House Lodge can be reserved in its entirety, with several spots for gatherings, including the sun room, the two-story library, and the courtyard.

The Overlook Hall was originally constructed back in the year 1929 and was built in the style of chapels often found in Italy. Formerly used as a church, the building was restored in 2010 and is now considered to be one of the town of Avalon’s “loveliest hillside venues.” Overlook Hall boasts nearly 1,200 square feet of open event space in the upstairs sanctuary with a raised stage, wall heaters, spacious windows, and original wood floors. There is also a wide outdoor deck with views of the Pacific Ocean. There is also a private lounge area downstairs.
