SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium is an interactive, family-friendly aquarium and marine park located on the south side of Crown Center Square in Kansas City. The Aquarium transports visitors into an underwater world with more than 5,000 sea creatures in 30 incredible displays, a 360° ocean tunnel, and interactive touch pools filled with a variety of sea creatures from humble starfish to graceful rays. The SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium also offers a range of educational programs, fun talks and feeding shows throughout the day.

SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium is home to an array of sea creatures housed in well-maintained natural habitats and exhibits. Visitors can experience all types of sea animals ranging from seahorses, starfish and stingrays to jellyfish, sharks, and thousands of fish.
Merging inspiration and imagination, Doodle Reef displays the beauty of the tropical ocean and the marine creatures that live within it. Visitors can experience the underwater world in a virtual world by creating their own virtual sea creatures that come to life on a screen and swim through a vast virtual sea.
SEA LIFE Kansas City offers a range of educational and conservation programs for learners of all ages. Every year, the Aquarium selects a group of Young Environmentalists to learn about conservation of marine animals and the environment in which they live. The Young Environmentalists program features a range of activities both at the aquarium and around the area, ranging from river, lake and stream clean-ups and feeding of the aquarium’s rays, sharks and sea turtles to spreading the word about the all-important World Oceans Day.
Visitors can enjoy various educational talks and feeding demonstrations throughout the day, including an Interactive Rockpool Experience, an Octopus Talk, and Turtle Show. Other discussions include Ocean Explorer Talk, Ray Talk, and Doodle Reef Talk.

SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium is involved with several conservation activities, including Seahorse Breeding, and seal rescues with Seal Sanctuaries, over 100 seals are successfully recovered and returned to the wild each year. Other programs include re-homing of injured, sick or disabled aquatic creatures and the protection of turtles with a new Sea Turtle Rescue and Wildlife Information Centre in Greece.
SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium is located at 2475 Grand Boulevard in Kansas City and is open Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
