Explora is a family-friendly science center near the Old Town in Albuquerque, New Mexico that offers an interactive learning experience in the fields of math, science, and art. Boasting over 250 hands-on displays, exhibits, and presentations covering science, technology, and art, Explora employs a hands-on, inquiry-based approach to science, math, and art, and encourages visitors of all ages to explore, discover and learn through the art of touch.
Featuring over 20,000 square feet of exhibit space over two floors, Explora houses an array of informative and thought-provoking exhibits, including an experiment bar, a laminar flow fountain, a high-wire bike, and an arts and crafts area. In addition to amazing exhibits and displays, the science center also houses a performance theater, an in-house exhibit workshop, educational program areas, and a gift shop.
Explora is located at 1701 Mountain Road NW in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
