Kata Beach is one of the most famous beaches found in Phuket Province. If you've ever seen photos of Phuket online or in holiday ads, there's a good chance you've seen some images of Kata Beach. It's one of the areas most photographed beaches because it really does look like a little slice of heaven. The soft, shimmering sands spread out for around a mile in total, offering more than enough space for everyone to have their own little patch of sand and not feel like they're being crowded out, even on the busiest of days. Lush vegetation lines the edge of the beach and offers a nice amount of shade if you need to cool off, and the crystal clear blue waters are really inviting and just right for swimming. Amenities at this beach include food vendors and restaurants, with several upscale hotels nearby too.
2.Kata Noi Beach
Right by Kata Beach, the 'Noi' part of this beach's name actually translates to 'Little', which essentially means it's called 'Little Kata Beach'. It's about half the size of Kata but has a lot of the same features and advantages including soft, silky sands and warm blue waters. Surfing and diving are very popular on this beach, and there are some great restaurants, bars, and resorts just a short walk away, so you won't have to go too far to get some good food and drinks when you start to feel hungry. Kata Noi Beach tends to be a little more tranquil than Kata Beach, so it's a good option for the days when you don't want to deal with the crowds and just need to chill out.
3.Ya Nui Beach
This is one of the smallest beaches in all of Phuket Province, but it's still worthy of an entry on this list because it's definitely one of the very best beaches on the island. The reason this beach stands out among all the others is its views. Ya Nui Beach is positioned in an unbelievable spot, offering fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding Thai landscapes. Vast swathes of forest and stunning scenery can be seen all around, and it's an amazing place to take some photographs or simply sit and admire a view that never gets old. Snorkeling and scuba diving are popular activities at this Phuket beach as well, and the area is served by some quality eateries and hotels.

If white sand is what you want, Freedom Beach is where you need to go. This Phuket beach can rival the top spots in the Caribbean in the beauty department, being made up some simply gorgeous sugary sands and turquoise waters. Tall palms line up in a row along the edge, offering some small shady areas, and the beach is served by a great local restaurant serving up tasty local treats and refreshing drinks. It's worth noting that this beach is relatively small and quite difficult to get to. You'll either need to take a boat around the coast or hike along a pretty steep path to get to Freedom Beach, but it's definitely worth the trip and is always very quiet and relaxing.
Like Ya Nui Beach and Freedom Beach, Paradise Beach is relatively small but still so beautiful and really lives up to its name. This beach is actually split in two by the presence of a little rocky outcrop halfway along, and it can be fun to climb over the rocks and explore both ends of Paradise Beach, with some lovely views to be found all around this terrific Thai beach. Locals like to gather here to have parties and participate in all kinds of activities that are open to tourists too like kayaking and diving. Due to the popularity and small size of Paradise Beach, it can get quite busy, but if you don't mind the crowds then you'll have a lot of fun here.
