Located on the east coast of Samui just north of Lamai Beach, Silver Beach is a charming little bay with a 250m-long beach with white sand, palm trees and turquoise water with several long-established hotels resorts, including Crystal Bay Beach Resort, Silver Beach Resort, Thongtakian Resort, and Crystal Bay Yacht Club, and plenty of restaurants, and bars overlooking the beach. Also known as Haad Thong Ta-khian (which in Thai means ‘the beach of the Ta-khian Trees’), Silver Beach is a classic bathing bay with shallow water and is suitable for families with small children and non-swimmers. Other activities at the beach include kayaking, canoeing, and snorkeling and there is plenty of parking.
