Bled is a charming Slovenian resort town which has been used as a health retreat by prominent guests since the times of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Vila Bled is a converted 1950s residence of Marshal Josip Broz Tito, then used to entertain foreign leaders. The villa was converted into a luxury hotel in 1984.
