Found atop Hillcrest, Kemuri is Little Rock’s little sushi paradise, providing patrons with the best Japanese fare that you could find in places like New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. But more than just sushi, the place also specialized in the best tasting seafood and smoked meats the locals could find, owing mostly to their prime selection of ingredients, sauces, and grilling methods all mixed up in one nice unconventional recipe.

Stylish and contemporary, Kemuri is Little Rock’s best place to find sushi, seafood, and robata.
Robata: Roughly means “fireside cooking,” Robata is a traditional Japanese way of grilling. It came from Northern Japan where fishermen would slowly cook their day’s catch over a box of coal. The hot coal grills the fish to a perfect temperature, creating fine tasting meat, seafood, and even vegetables.
Seafood: Kemuri is quite known for its seafood, may it be the Ceviche or the Hamachi tartar. Worthy of note as well is the restaurant’s Black Cod. All of the restaurant’s seafood are flown in fresh and cooked in a way that will impress even the best of seafood connoisseurs.
Sushi: Perhaps the most versatile dish Kemuri has to offer, this category of Japanese food has brought people from all over Little Rock to sample its different forms, may it be the traditional rolls like the sashimi to the unconventional ones like the Mummy Roll or Crazy Monkey.
