For those who are new to zip lines, the Blue Streak zip line could be the right choice for you. This is a single set of two parallel zip lines measuring over 3,000 feet each. Offering high speeds of up to 50 miles per hour, the Blue Streak zip line starts off at an incredible height of 10,000 feet and provides astounding views and a thrilling ride as guests fly through the skies to the far end.
If you'd prefer a full-on tour rather than a single zip line, Heavenly also runs the Skyway Zip Line Tour. With multiple zip lines offering incredible views of the lake and surrounding area, as well as friendly guides leading the way and provide fascinating insight about Lake Tahoe, the Skyway Zip Line Tour is a must-do for all visitors to the Heavenly Lake Tahoe resort. For younger visitors, there's also the Red Tail Flyer Zip Line, a specially-designed 100 foot zip line designed just for kids!
Riders of the Red Tail should weigh between 30 and 100 pounds. Meanwhile, guests wishing to ride the other zip lines need to a weigh a minimum of 70 pounds and a maximum of 250 pounds. Riders on the adult zip lines need to be aged 10 or above and can't be taller than 78". All visitors are encouraged to wear closed-toed, tight-fitting shoes that don't risk flying off during the zip lines, as well as comfortable, close-fitting clothes.

Each of these locations offers a wide array of zip line tours and experiences to enjoy, with each course offering unique views and sensations that simply have to be experienced.
The Vista Park offers a whopping 39 zip lines in total, with nine different courses for guests of most ages and ability levels. Even youngsters of 5 or 6 years old can take part in most of the courses. The zip line tours at the Tahoe Vista Treetop are also highly convenient, with a continuous safety system that doesn't require any clipping or unclipping. If any members of your party don't want to ride the zip lines, this location also offers walking trails that follow the same route as the zip line tours, allowing guests to simply walk along and follow the action from ground level. There's a minimum height limit of 49" on two of the advanced courses, but the others have no height limits at all.
Meanwhile, the City location features 27 additional zip lines as well as 60 sky bridges and other treetop obstacles to enjoy. Featuring a range of courses designed for everyone from beginners to advanced zip line pros, the Tahoe City Treetop location also features a minimum height requirement of 49" on two of the courses, but none on the other eight.
