Ferrari World, located in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, is a first-class destination for all fans of this classic, speedy vehicle. With rides for the meek or the wild, shows, experiences and shopping, guests will happily spend a day or more exploring all that they have to offer.
The park, which was the first Ferrari themed amusement park in the world as well as being the biggest space frame structure that has been built so far. It officially opened to the general public in 2010 and sits on over 86,000 metres. Since opening, it has been named the top tourist attraction in the Middle East in 2015, 2016, and 2017. They have also won awards for hospitality, dining experience (their Italian restaurant, Mamma Rossella, has won many of its own awards as well), and live design.

The attraction that comprises Ferrari World is made up of a few categories of attractions and exhibits.
Rides and Shows: The rides located at Ferrari World were built to thrill! From roller coasters that propels rides through G-force accelerations, go karts that allow for fun for the entire family, and state of the art racing simulator that lets guests challenge their friends, families and even strangers for best lap times, there are rides for every type of thrill seeker.
Turbo Track: Experience the thrills, vertical climb, and zero gravity falls with friends and family as the guests become test drivers.
Flying Aces: This rollercoaster actually boasts the highest loop in the world currently and hits speeds of over 120km/hr.! The ride was inspired by famous aviator Count Baracca.
Formula Rossa: Another fast ride, Formula Rossa blasts goggled riders an amazing 240 km/h in just 4.9 seconds and is currently the fastest rollercoaster in the world!
Experiences: Besides the main rides, Ferrari World also offers a wide range of rides designed especially for younger visitors.
Tyre Twist: This ride lets children ride in a huge F1 inspired car tyre that runs like a teacup ride, except this one lets children collide into other riders as the tyre twists and turns its way around the track.
Junior Grand Prix: For children who have always wanted to learn how to race, this racing school is catered specifically to children. After they watch an instructional video, trained experts will give them instructions before they are allowed to actually get behind the wheel and race!
Speed of Magic: Children are often enamored by this 4D experience, which is led by Nello, an often-mischievous driver. Nello takes guests under the ocean, over cliffs, and into ice caves while they are subjected to an experience like no other that includes changes in moisture, temperature, movement, and light.
Ferrari World is open every day from 11am to 8pm. Guests should make sure to abide by all park rules including not bringing in any outside food or beverages and/or ice coolers. No abusive language or behavior is permitted. Smoking is not allowed on the premises. Check the website for the full expanded series of park rules prior to visiting.
As a world class theme park, Ferrari World also hosts many seasonal special events. The website hosts a complete and frequently updated calendar of their offerings, including additional costs (if any) as well as dates, times, and type of event. In the past, Ferrari World has held displays of ice skaters who have held world championship titles, Bollywood dancer performances, beautiful light shows, and even live DJ performances. It is a great experience that only adds to the total Ferrari World family fun time! Plan a visit around one of the events for the complete experience.
One of the favorite seasonal offerings is the Chinese New Year celebration, ringing in the new year with appropriate offerings including circus performances, arts and crafts, acrobats, and even a performing panda! Tickets to this event are required in addition to entrance to the park and must be purchased in advance, which can be done through their website.

There are multiple dining and shopping options for guests visiting Ferrari World. Check out Ristorante Cavallino, the Officers Food Quarters, Il Podio, Mamma Rossella (which is award winning), or Espresso Rosso for a variety of different dining experiences and stop at the Ferrari Store or the Past and Present Store to pick up a gift to commemorate a visit to the park. There is something for every budget and taste level!
