The Iris Inn was built in 1991 on a Blue Ridge mountain which overlooks the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. The property of the Inn spans a stunning 12 acres on that mountain ridge for spectacular views and private seclusion.

One of the best romantic weekend getaways in Virginia, this quaint, yet elegant bed and breakfast is only about a half hour drive from great wineries, if guests are interested in wine tours, plus there are many more attractions located within reasonable distance including hiking and theater.

Each of the nine rooms boasts it’s very own view of the mountain terrain and most have access to the inn’s deck area as well. Included with every stay is a full breakfast and wine and cheese every evening. There are six cottages and cabins on the property as well, should guests wish to have more space to themselves.
