Watch the Old Faithful Geyser erupt from the comfort of your room at the Old Faithful Inn. The Old Faithful Inn is located next to the Old Faithful Geyser in the center of Yellowstone National Park. You might not think that such a large landmark inn inside one of the busiest national parks in the country could be considered romantic, but it really is quite charming.

The romance of Yellowstone comes easily with some clever vacation planning. Head off and explore the many miles of park trails, scenic views, and waterfalls. Then return to the Old Faithful Inn for dinner and then go sit outside on the benches next to Old Faithful and wait for the geyser erupt under the moonlight.

The premium rooms in a new wing are without the old log walls, but the rooms are large and the ones facing the geyser basin have great views. The smaller rooms in the older structure have much more of the log cabin feel but the views aren't as good.

If you get up early you will be able to stroll around the Upper Geyser Basin together and have the place to yourselves. When you book your room, check for a room with a view of the geyser basin otherwise you might end up with a view of the parking lot. If you go on vacation in June or the first two weeks in September you will have good weather without the crowds of August.
